What is the course of Varenicline?
Should start 1 week before patients target date to stop
Course is 12 weeks

Caution if history of depression or self harm
Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding

Norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor and nicotinic antagonist
What is the course of Bupropion?
Start 1-2 weeks before proposed stop date
What are contraindications to Bupropion?
Epilepsy- increases risk of seizures
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding
Eating disorder
