A
Cough- can be productive
Sore throat
Rhinorrhoea
Wheeze
Low grade fever

What is acute bronchitis?
A
A chest infection- normally self limiting
Due to inflammation of the trachea and major bronchi leading to oedematous airways and sputum production

What is the management?
A
Analgesia
Fluid intake
Consider abx
- if unwell systemically
- pre-existing co-morbidities
Raised CRP
1st line- doxycycline
2nd line- amoxicillin
