Peutz-Jegher’s Syndrome
Syndrome characterized by development of benign hemartomatous polyps throughout the GI tract and hyperpigemented macules on the lips and oral mucosa
Gardner Syndrome
Autosomal Dominant Disorder
Leads to the development of a high number of colonic polyps, as well as many other types of tumors.
Polyps predispose to the development of colon cancer.
Other tumors include: desmoid tumors, osteomas of the skull, thyroid cancer, epidermoid cysts, and fibromas.
Enteroclysis =
Radiographic technique in which radionuclide contrast is injected into the duodenum via a nasal tube.
This is very good for detecting masses in the small intestine

Celiac Disease
FAP
Risk factors for SI lymphomas:
Celiac’s
Immunodeficient state
