Inspection of gear

A

All firefighters are responsible for the inspection and maintenance of appliances and equipment.

Be aware of stowage and operation of gear. Particularly if it’s not your pumper.

It is much better to discover faulty or misssing equipment at the start of a shift rather than at an incident.
