What is RAM?
RAM is Volatile storage that holds currently in use data or instructions.
What is ROM?
ROM is non volatile storage that holds the BIOS, Bootstrap and Firmware.
What is virtual Storage?
Often referred to as cloud storage
Storing and retrieving data over the internet in the cloud instead of a local storage device.
Benefits and Drawbacks of the Cloud:

. Easy to collaborate on documents
. Automatic backups provided by host
. Version history and file archiving
Drawbacks
. Exact location of file storage may be unknown - implications in data protection
. Malware such as worms may be spread through files
. Security of file access may be a concern
. Often a fee for larger capacities
