Stage 3 /4 - associated With delta waves / sleep through disturbances

Regulated by activation of b1 adrenergic receptor
Daylight stops noradrenergeric stimulation affecting enzyme production
Blue light suppresses melatonin production
Bananas increase blood melatonin
