100% sensitive, but not specific
Is the SLE DNA test specific? sensitive?
Not very sensitive, but it is ~98% specific
What can be a lung complication of SLE?

Hemorrhage - treat with Cytoxan
What are some kidney complications of lupus?
Glomerulonephritis
Nephrotic Syndrome
Proteinuria
How does CNS lupus present?
Seizures, psychosis
What cells are affected in lupus?
B-cells

- Malar rash (spares the nasolabial fold)
- Dyscoid lesions (scalp)
- Photosensitivity

What is the main non-pharmacological treatment for SLE?
Avoid sun
