8 cranial bones: frontal, occipital, parietal (left and right), temporal (left and right), sphenoid, and ethmoid
What is the bony prominence on the frontal bone?
Glabella (between eyebrows)
What is the bony prominence of the occipital bone?
External occipital protuberance
What does the ethmoid bone articulate with?
underside of the frontal bone and forms anterior floor of cranium
Where is the sphenoid bone located?
Posterior to ethmoid bone
What shape does the sphenoid bone resemble?
Bat shape
What bones do the right and left parietal bones articulate with?
sphenoid anteriorly and occipital posteriorly

zygomatic process
