Maxilla (2), mandible (1), zygomas (2), and nasal bones (9)
What is the maxilla and what does it articulate with?
Two maxillary bones fused together beneath the nose, articulating with all facial bones except mandible

What positioning landmark is located at the maxilla?
Acanthion (bottom of nose and upper lip join)
What do the nasal bones articulate with?
Laterally with maxillary bones and posteriorly with ethmoid
What is the only movable bone of the face?
Mandible (jaw)
What bones make up the nasal bones?
vomer, palatine bone (2), nasal conchae (2), and lacrimal bones (2)
Where is the vomer located and what does it form?
Located posteriorly to acanthion and forms nasal septum
What bone forms the hard palate (roof of mouth)?
Palatine bone (right and left)
What divides the nasal cavity?
Nasal conchae (superior, middle, inferior)
What do lacrimal bones form?
A portion of the medial wall of each orbit
