patient erect with nose and forehead in contact with the image receptor
MSP and orbeomatale baseline perpendicular to the image receptor
centring at the occiput so the beam emerges at the glabella
reverse townes and townes
for a townes view angle the tube down 30 degrees and for a reverese townes, angle the tube upwards 30 degrees
