scale
excessive shedding of keratin cells from epidermis. appears as dry or greasy small flakes that are white or silvery
fissure
straight line but with abrupt edges that extends into dermis
erosion
shallow depression only present in epidermis layer. appears moist but without bleeding
ulceration
deeper depression involving loss of epidermis and drmis, may bleed
excoriation
loss of epidermis in linear crusted areas
