Describe Individual Responding
A
- Content: The actual words being communicated by an individual member; “concreteness”
- Affect: The emotional expression (feelings) conveyed by the individual –> can be explicit & implied

A
- Content: Collective information conveyed by the group (respect, concreteness, and genuineness)
- Affect: Collective feelings expressed by the group during group interactions (empathy, respect, concreteness, and genuineness)

A
- Sharing something about ourselves as a therapist.
- It will be important to observe during the disclosure as well as after

- This has to do with taking and maintaining the leadership role particularly when group member interaction becomes redundant
