(For Benedict’s test - maltose)

Use maltose solutions of different concentrations (and carry out the Benedict’s test)
Use a colorimeter to measure the colour and plot a calibration curve
Find the concentration of sample from the calibration curve
(Conc of maltose - X axis)

- Filter and dry the precipitate
- Find mass/weight

How do you use an eyepiece graticule to determine the mean (of a stomata)?
A
Measure (stomata) using the eyepiece graticule
Calibrate eyepiece graticule against stage micrometer
Take multiple measurements to find a mean
