what are latitude lines?
Lines of latitude are imaginary lines that divide the Earth. They run east to west, but measure your distance north or south.
what are Longitude lines?
Lines of longitude, also called meridians, are imaginary lines that divide the Earth. They run north to south from pole to pole, but they measure the distance east or west. Longitude is measured in degrees, minutes, and seconds.
How to read a compound bar graph?
(Comparative or compound bar chart only) Use the legend to determine the specific category within the bar(s).
Use the vertical axis to determine the size of the bar(s) required.
Read the category label on the horizontal axis.
How to read a simple bar graph?
To read a bar chart, read along the x-axis to find the bar you want. Go to the top of the bar and read across to the scale on the y-axis to work out the value.
How to find the longitude and latitude of places?(using a map/atlas)
look at the lines at the top and the sides showing numbers and read where the place is.
