1
Q
List down the functions of skeletal system
A
Body framework - shape and support
Protection of internal organs
Formation of blood cells in bone marrow
Storage of excess calcium
2
Q
List five types of bone and give an example each.

- Long bones - elongated, slender bones found mainly in the limbs.
- Short bones - chunky and boxy in shape. Ex, carpals and tarsals.

The sensory nerve supply usually enters the bone at the same site as the nutrient artery, and branches extensively throughout the bone. Bone injury is therefore usually very painful.
4
