A

Fuel to your destination plus 10% fuel for the most distant alternate airport, 30 min holding at 1500ft AGL

Explain the 10% rule and how it works.

A

If your flight is 7 hours you do 7x60=420min
10% of 420=42

So you add 42 extra minutes of fuel onboard the aircraft

What is planned redispatch?

A

Allowes the dispatcher to dispatch the flight to a point in space and then redispatch it to its intended destination if it has the fuel onboard, if not it will land at a predetermined airport.
