Pragmatism
A proposed course of action, done out of love, should be practical and work in real life
Relativism
Rejects such absolutes as ‘never’ or ‘always’. All situations are individual and unique
Positivism
Decisions should always be made using love as the most important consideration of all
Personalism

God’s love for humanity
Agapesism/agapeistic
The use of agape as the test for making moral decisions
Antinomianism
The idea that chosen Christians are freed, by God’s grace or predestination, from the obligation to observe moral laws
Consequentialism
The consequences of an action solely determine whether it is the right thing to do

Agape is the only good in and of itself. All other virtues are dependant on it.

All decisions should be made in the basis of agape.

Agape and justice are the same. As Fletcher puts it: “justice is love distributed, nothing else”

Agapeistic decisions are variable, as situations alter
