Situación 4 - El Tren

Question 1

Speak to the inspector saying you are sorry that you do not have a ticket. Explain that you didn’t have time to buy it at the station because there was a huge queue at the ticket office

Lo siento señor, pero no tengo billete. No tuve tiempo de comprarlo en la estación porque había una cola muy larga en la taquilla

Say you had no idea of cheating anyone. It’s just that, as you said, you arrived too late. Say you had to catch this train because the next one doesn’t leave till 7pm

No tenía ni idea de que estaba engañando a nadie. Es sólo que, como le he dicho, llegué demasiado tarde. Tuve que coger este tren porque el próximo no sale hasta las siete de la tarde
