What is the mission of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard?
A). Army’s mission is to fight and win Nation’s wars by providing prompt, sustained land dominance across full range of military operations.
B). The Navy is to maintain, train, and equip combat-ready naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression, and maintaining freedom of the seas.
C). Marines fight on land, seas, and air and provide forces and detachments to naval ships and ground operations.
D). Coast Guard ensures our nation’s maritime safety, security and stewardship.
What is the purpose of Legal Support Doctrine?
The principle by which military forces, or elements thereof, guide their actions to support national objectives. It’s authoritative, but not directive and requires judgment in application.

Military member who objects to war in some manner.
What is conscientious objection?
A firm, fixed, and sincere objection to participation in war in any form or bearing arms, because of religious training and or belief.
What is Class 1-O
member who because of CO sincerely objects to participation in military service of any kind in a war in any form.
What is class 1-A-O
member who by reason of CO sincerely objects to participation as a combatant in a war in any form, but whose convictions are such as to permit military service in a noncombatant status.
