What are the four components of LCSS ?
TacNet, TacC2IS, TacComms, ISTAR.
What does ISTAR stand for ?
Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance.
What is the difference between a RED segment and a BLACK segment ?
Red is physical protected and non-encrypted. Black is encrypted but not physically protected.
TacNet is in a RED segment and TacComms is in a BLACK segment.
What are the core components of TacComms ?
CNR, WAS (LOS, BLOS), MCR (connects to MANETS) and lines.
What are the core components of TacNet ?
LAN and PAN.
On what TacComms subnetworks can LAN and PAN be connected ?
Tactical Backbone (TFOCA, only BLACK), Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANET) and CNR Broadcast networks (voice and limited IP)
