Give and explain 3 ways equality is shown in Sikhism:

A
  • The Langar - doors from all sides to represent all being welcome, everyone seated on the floor to show nobody is superior to anyone else, all ethnicities, religions, genders etc. welcomed, food is free
  • Sewa - the willingness to serve others shows that Sikhs do not believe they are better than anyone else and show that they think all people deserve to be cared for ( highlighted many times in guru granth sahib )
  • Guru Nanak - he created the religion with the purpose of uniting all and constantly displays equality by serving food to all, being humble and teaching everyone
