This is to catch any illness/ disease as soon as possible. This means treatment can be done to prevent it become worse and make it curable (if left to long could be impossible)

- looking for detailed indicators of health: coat, texture, eye clarity, skin elasticity
- different species have different normals so have to research
- this includes weight and body condition score

- advanced biosercurity measures
- species specific bio security
What is advanced bio security measures?
- importances of quarantine and isolation
- steps to in place for bio security ( uv sterilization)
What does species- specific biosecurity?
- quarantine procedures for new animals
- isolation protocol for sick animals
- specific biosecurity measures for aquatic species

Creating a list of common and rare symptoms of the diseases
Knowing how to report symptoms accurately and promptly
What do you do when identifying appropriate treatment,?
Do advanced treatment for common and rare disease. This also has to be tailored towards the animal specifically.

- The importance of regular and detail heath checks.
- this should be also put as digital copy’s to prevent being lost or damaged
What are we looking for when looking at posture,feeding,drinking, urination/defecation and weight change ?
- Looking normal behaviours and feeding and drinking habits.
- signs of distress or illness ( weight loss )

- detailed analysis of normal behaviours
