He was a Greek doctor that came up with the theory or the 4 humours which interlocked with the 4 seasons.
Who was hipocraties
He was a Roman doctor that built on Galen’s 4 humours theory and came up with the theory of opposites.
William Harvey
He discovered that the heart pumped blood in a circular motion around the human body. This ment that people rearlise that letting blood to balance out the 4 humours wasn’t the best idea.
Ambrose pare.
He started to understand how to amputate limbs properly by using ligatures to tie off the blood vessels.
Andreas Vesalius.
He discovered that the human anatomy was different to Apes and other mammals.

Belived that different illnesses had different characteristics. raised awareness and people couldn’t use the same cure for all illnesses.
Edward Jenner.
Saw that milkmen wouldn’t catch smallpox because they would suffer from cowpox.
He then injected cowpox into a boy named James Philips.
He then injected James with smallpox after he recovered.
He survived because of Jenner’s vaccination. the first ever.
