If an ear canal is around 25mm, find a wavelength which corresponds to this for most amplification. The frequency will be around 3000Hz for highest sensitivity to sound.

What effect does hearing loss have on threshold intensity?
A
If there is hearing loss of 35 Db and the threshold was 2Db, the new threshold will be 37Db.
