  • U&E: hyponatremia
  • Serum osmolality: DECREASED
  • Urine osmolality: INCREASED

How would you treat SIADH? (4)

A
  • Restrict fluid
  • Slowly correct hyponatremia: salt tablets, IV hypertonic saline
  • Diuretics
  • Vasopressin receptor antagonists (‘vaptans’)
