“If you wrong us, shall we not revenge?”
He moves from talking about equality to justifying revenge:
ill have my bond
repeated showing his anger and determination - he mentions the bond 3 times in both his second and third speeches emphasising his importance and suggesting he is becoming obsessed. caesura that breaks up his line as he talks about the bond show his anger.
‘since i am a dog, beware my fangs’
he is refering to antonios insults, implying that his motivation comes from antonios abuse as much it does with his ‘oath’. he inverts the metaphor ‘dog’, to threaten antonio which antonio used to dehumanise shylock.
