Positioning

A
  • Patient stands erect with the back of their shoulder against the IR
  • Rotate the patient 5-10 degrees so the scapula of the affected side is in contact with the image receptor.
  • If the patient condition allows, then we are to extend the affected arm out and rotate slightly so palm is facing outwards.
