Where is the Image Receptor placed?

How is the patient positioned?
A
- The patient must lie on the table, with their legs extended.
- Their legs must be rotated internally, by separating the heels and turning the feet inwards

Why do we rotate feet internally?
A
To ensure there is no foreshortening of the femoral neck.

A
When it is a trauma pt as it will be too painful for them.
