a sac filled with liquid that is found between tissues
What is the function of the bursa?
cushions that decrease friction and irritation between the tissues; helps joints move smoothly and painlessly
What are the four bursae in the shoulder?
subscapular, subdeltoid, subacromial, subcoracoid
