What is the plot?
The plot is the sequence of events in a story or play. It is the authors arrangement of events to develop the basic idea
What is the order of the plot plan
Introduction, inciting incident, rising action, crisis point, climax (top of the plot), falling action, resolution
What is the setting?
The setting is the time and location in which is story takes place. In some stories the setting is very important and others aren’t.
What are the 5 types of setting?
Place, time, weather conditions, social conditions, and mood or atmosphere
What is the character?
The character is the information author gives the reader about the characters themselves.

Physical appearance, what they say think or dream, does or doesn’t, how they react

The theme is the Controlling idea or central inside. It is the authors meaning a main idea he’s trying to convey.

The point of view is the angle from which the story is told (1st and 3rd person)

The conflict is what move the plot forward
