What is Shock?

A

Circulatory failure resulting in inadequate organ perfusion.

Defined by BPS <90 or mean arterial <65 with evidence of tissue hyper fusion.

A
Hypovolaemia from haemorrhage or fluid loss
Pump Failure
Sepsis
Anaphylaxis
Neurogenic failures like spinal injury
Endocrine failure like addisonian crisis
