- Symmetrical, erythematous, tender, nodules
- heal without scarring
- caused by strep infection, systemic disease and drugs

- symmetrical, erythematous lesions
- often seen in Graves’ disease
- shiny, orange peel skin

Pretibial myxoedema

- initial small red papule
- later deep, red, necrotic ulcers with a violaceous border
- mostly idiopathic in 50%, may also be seen in systemic disease (IBD, myleoproliferative, connective tissue disease)

- diabetics
- associated with telangiectasia
