- This also relates to how faults are hidden when you have a crush such as “raven”, normally have connotations of evil but here is used positively

- However, it uses enjambment suggesting the narrator is overwhelmed by the woman’s beauty
- Poem is split into 3 stanzas, progressing from her physical appearance to her personality. However, his proof for her moral personality is her beauty so…
- Present tense shows that her beauty is eternal and everlasting and also shows that this is real and not a rose-tinted memory
