Indifferent

ex: Rob waggled his eyebrows at the disgruntled woman who refused to smile.
Baffle

ex: My jokes could easily baffle Coop.

(noun) an ugly, twisted expression on a person’s face, actually to express pain or disgust

(verb) to play or take part in an activity in a way that is not serious
ex: Simon is independently wealthy. He lives here alone, dabbles in stocks and bonds, and goes to high school as a dodge.

(adj. ) expressing blame or accusing someone
ex: I saw Simon’s expression was disapproving and accusatory.
Demeanor
(noun) a person’s outward behavior or appearance
ex: Now I stopped the car, wiped my sweaty palms against my t-shirt, assumed my I’m-just-too-casual-to-live demeanor, and sauntered over to her.
Annihilate
(verb) to destroy something completely
ex: Or maybe Rob didn’t need to defeat. Maybe he needed to annihilate.
Devious
(adj. ) willing to lie or trick people to get what one wants
ex: The thought ghosted through my mind that Glass was more than book smart. He was devious.
Infer
(verb) to form an opinion or reach a conclusion based on evidence
