SHARING MY FAITH Flashcards
SMF1) What is the Divine Commission from Jesus to his Christain followers?
Go and make disciples. The greatest calling I can have is to be an ambassador for Christ. I am to bring people back into fellowship with GOD. I am to be a living daily witness of the character of GOD. Love for GOD and my family in Christ. I evangelize under the authority of Jesus Christ who is my co-laborer in the salvation of souls. I have been saved by the grace of GOD to serve. Our personal experience is the most powerful witness that can be given?
To be a powerful soul winner: First, BE PRAYERFUL. Recognize your need for dependance on GOD and lean on him. Second, BE PERSISTENT. Never give up. Claim Galations 6:9 and move forward in faith. Third, BE PERSONABLE. In humility and faith seek to help those you encounter.
TO DO LIST: give Bible readings, conduct & teach Sabbath School, help the poor, care for the sick and seek the unconverted.
Matthew 28: 18-20
1 Corinthians 3:8-9
Mark 5:19-20

SMF2) What method of successful evangelisim was used by Jesus Christ?
Or do you despise the riches of his kindness, restraint, and patience, not recognizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?
Romans 2:4
Christ reached people’s hearts by:
- Mingling with people
- Desiring their good
- Showing sympathy for their problems
- Ministering to their needs
- Winning their confidence
- Calling them to follow Him
Start your morning devotional time by praying for divine appointments! Act in faith by carrying Bible tracts or DVDs with you. Remember to keep your eyes open! God will open the door for you to share your faith with others.
What is mankind’s greatest need?
To Know Christ thru the Word of God and prayer, & thereby obtain eternal life. It is impossible to trust someone you do not know. That would be presumptuous—and dangerous! In the same way, Jesus’ prerequisite for entry into heaven is for us to know Him, that is, to have a personal and intimate trust relationship with our God.
Moses, Daniel, and Jesus—as well as many others, such as Enoch, Abraham, and Nehemiah—these great men of faith had at least one thing in common: they knew the power of prayer! Their daily time with God was the priority of their life and the source of their effectiveness.
“The creative energy that called the worlds into existence is in the word of God. This word imparts power; it begets life. Every command is a promise; accepted by the will, received into the soul, it brings with it the life of the Infinite One. It transforms the nature and re-creates the soul in the image of God. Pray to the Lord for the thing which that Word of GOD says, depend wholly upon that word for the thing prayed for, and thank GOD that you have received it.
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
John 17:3
The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.
Matthew 8:8
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 8:17
