He was a Poet, Playwright, Actor, Director, Bard. (1564-1616)
Where was Shakespeare born and raised?
He was born in Stratford, England, with a river Avon that flows through the town.
What school and language did he learn
He attended the local grammar school and learned French, Latin and other subjects
Who and when did he marry?
Married Anne Hathaway (26) when he was 18 and then 6 months later there first child was born.
What did Shakespeare work as during early life of London
He started work as an actor in a Theatrical Troupe.
Who was Charmberlain?
Chamberlian was the patron of the group thus he funded the money for the troupe and also received the first profits.
What were some jobs in the Troupe
Some jobs were ticket counting, promoting the play (walking around town with a sandwich board), providing refreshments if any, writing the play (William Shakespeare), costume/prop creation, and clean up.
When did a plague happen, and who did it affect?
The plague happened during his early days of play writhing, and since it spreads around large crowds all theaters were closed (3 years)
What did William Shakespeare do during the pandemic?
He went back to Stratford and started writing sonnets. Most of them were about love because love was the hype back then. (Almost all his famous sonnets were written during the pandemic)

Why did the play need to end before dusk?
Theaters needed to end before dusk because the city gates of London closed at dusk and since the Globe Theater was on the other side of Thames they had to end. Also the winter days r shorter in England, so the plays were shorter
