What are challenges of observing Shabbat?
A
- During winter sunset is earlier, hard to come home from work early or school
- Avot melakkah
- Some families walk long distance to the synagogue, as you cannot use a car

A
- women of the house light two candles to welcome Shabbat
- Special Friday night meal
- Man of house recites kiddush prayer over wine and over two loaves of challah bread
- bread slightly dipped in salt
- Drink wine shows sweetness and joy of the day
- Day of rest, no working
- Go to synagogue sat morning
