females = passive, emotional, nurturing
men = assertive, aggressive, tough
how are stereotypes reinforced and by who?
reinforced by parents, peers, media, schools

what are the downsides of gender stereotypes? and example
likely to lead to sexist assumptions and negative assumptions for both men and women
