Q

Which of the places labelled would be the best settlement point? Explain your answer.

A

A - wood (for fuel and building), river, flat, bridging make this a good spot. B - has wood and stone for building but it is a little far from water and bridging point C - would be easily defended but far away from supplies e.g. materials & water and the land is very sloped which is not good for growing crops and building. Also transport would be hard.
