Nomadic site settlement dwelling agriculture hunting and gathering
Explain what makes a good site
A site that makes it a good site is on top of a mountain for defence, flat to build on easily, next to a river to enable trade and transport and next to forest for wood to keep warm

Linear = this is when the buildings form a straight line along a road, river or the transport route.
Nuclear = This is when buildings of a settlement form a cluster
Dispersed = This is when the buildings of the settlement are spread out and follow no obvious pattern
