Q

What’s the difference between a finite set and an infinite set?

A

Finite: specific # of elements (A=3,4,5,6,7,8 There are six elements in this set)

Infinite: unlimited # of elements (W=0,1,2,3,4… the “…” denotes that the elements in the set continue on indefinitely. W represents all the Whole numbers)

Q

What would the union of A and B look like?

A={1,2,3,4}

B={2,4,6,8}

A

A U B= {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8}
