Q

MO-5340, MO-5341, MO-5342 and MO-5343, Cooling Tower Bypass Valve open time?

A

Cooling Tower Bypass valves have a time delay of 250 seconds at the 16.7% open position. Open/closed commands go thru CTCS Node of PPC. Reason for delay is to avoid excess flow to tower basin in too short a time period which could cause an overflow of tower basin.
