Mentalism
An approach to explaining behavior that assumes that a mental or “inner” dimension exists that differs from a behavioral dimension.
Hypothetical Constructs
Presumed but unobserved entities.
Free-will, readiness, etc.
Explanatory Fictions
Fictitious variables that are another name for the observed behaviors.

Circular Reasoning
The cause and effect are both inferred from the same information.
