What is the Mukhyamantri Anna Suraksha Yojana (MASY)?
The MASY was launched in 2010 to provide subsidized rice to beneficiary families in Assam.
The objective of this scheme originally was providing 20 kg rice to each beneficiary family per month at ₹ 6 per kg.

It aims to promote research on the tribal languages so that they can develop grammar and publish books, dictionaries, and encyclopedias in tribal languages.
