A

What happens in fibrosis of the lungs as a result of an increase in fibrous tissue?

A

Lungs become less compliant so harder to stretch, lungs get smaller, FVC reduced, FEV1.0:FVC increased, lowered diffusion capacity because of thickened membrane.
