Session 7 - CLV & Logic Regression Flashcards
What is AER ?
Acquistion E Retention
What is AER ?
Acquisition Expansion Retention (Growth)
What is Cross-selling ?
It is when you are Microsoft and you have selling Office and you want to sell Microsoft Stream, it is cross selling.
Cannibalization ?
When you promote a second product the users don’t buy the first one.
What is Up-selling ?
The fact you are selling wine and they are buying one bottle at week. Now they are buying two bottles a week or a higher version of it.
What is the Pareto principle ?
The Pareto principle is 80% effects come from 20% of the causes.
Annual earning typically increase or decrease ?
On average, annual earnings typically increase over a customer’s life due to cross/up-selling.
What should you do with Tier One customer ?
Reward
What should you do with Tier Two ?
Grow
What should you do with Tier Three ?
Fire them.
What are the 5 different CLV ?
Main distinctions:
- CLV versus post-acquisition value (PAV)
- CLV versus residual lifetime value (RLV)
- CLV versus historical value (HV)
- CLV versus finite-horizon CLV
- CLV versus undiscounted CLV
CAC
Customer Acquistion Cost
What is PAV ?
PAV = CAC + CLV
What is Finite-horizon ?
…
Expected value of CLV
E(CLV) = Somme of (E (Profit t) -CAC)
