Ans: 1. Tension building - This is when the tension between the court becomes worse. They start getting angry, yelling at each other, criticize, swear, and show angry gestures.
- The Explosion - This is when major act of violence occurs including physical, sexual attack and treats to harm as well as verbal abuse. In this stage police is likely to intervene
- Sorry stage - This is when the abuser feels sorry and seeks peace and acts apologetic and loving.
