Q1. According to the Family Protection Act 2013. What is FSV?
Ans: Any conduct that is violent, threatening, coercive or controlling.
Q2. There are 5 types of abuse. Explain each of them.
Ans: Physical abuse - It is attacking by shoving, throwing things, pulling hair, twisting arms, chocking, punching, biting and kicking.
(ii) Sexual Abuse - forcing a person to have sex of take part in a sexual act they do not want to. This includes rape and indecent assault.
(III) Phycological abuse - this is emotional or mental abuse and includes verbal abuse or put downs, humiliation, bullying, treats, intimidation, damaging property or threatening to, and harassment.
(IV) Social Abuse- Putting people down Infront of others, depriving people of their freedom and controlling who they mix with.
(V) Economic abuse - Where tye abuser takes control of the money and leaves the victim powerless or cloth themselves or their children.
Q3. The vulnerable group of FSV encounter several issues. What are they?
Ans: They encounter loss of control, a sense of shame, embarrassment, anxiety, depression, fear or hostility.
