An eDOC is an Epic activity created by an insurance carrier. This is an automated process that occurs daily without much work on the carriers end or by Morris & Garritano. May or may not have a document attached. A carrier may choose to send eDOCs that only communicate information via notes in the activity. May also be referred to as Activity Notes.

Download, also referred to as Policy Download

The automated delivery of policy information from insurance carriers directly into our agency management system, Epic. When a policy is issued, endorsed, cancelled or reinstated, download carriers send us data overnight that automatically updates the policy app and service summary row. Not all carriers offer policy download.

Record of all the data received overnight by download into Epic. Date of downloaded transactions for the day is listed o the top of the log.

May update Epic with info for a policy renewal effective date
If SSR is created by someone and requests change from a carrier, it will update the stage changed section
