How is the inside treatment done?
INSIDE TREATMENT

- Treatment based on type of bugs
- In general we treat where the bugs are likely to congregate
(water sources/garage common)
- Additional crack and crevice treatments in problem areas
How is the outside treatment done?
OUTSIDE TREATMENT
- Dewebbing up to 30’
- Foundation treatment 3-5 ft up, 3-5 ft out
- Granulation treatment
- Additional structures treated, upon request
How long does the service take?
Avg 45 minutes… 20-30 min for the outside and 10 min for the inside. It is fine to do the outside only if they aren’t experiencing problems outside and they won’t be home the next day.
It may be a little different depending on the size of the house or the type of bugs that are being treated. (30 min - 1 hr)
Do they need to leave for the service?
NO. We only use the safest and highest quality of products so we can get the job done without causing harm to anyone.
What if they just want one treatment? Will that help?
What if they just get one treatment, won’t that help?
Yes. Initially it will help. The reason why we do a quarterly service is because bugs are persistent. If you just do a one and done treatment, they will likely come back just as soon as the product wears off and it will do nothing for their home long-term. We are not trying to scam them into getting treatments every 90 days; it is necessary to provide them with a service that will make a lasting impact. In fact, the one-and-done companies are more of a scam.
Is it safe?
Our treatments are safe for most people.
If they have asthma, COPD, or any other disorder that makes them easily affected by aerosols, then we would most likely treat just the outside of the home to be safe.
It is safe for pregnant women, but their doctors may still advise against it in some cases. Typically you tell them, “The only difference is you have a heightened sense of smell. Nobody else will smell it.”
If my neighbor gets treated, will all of their bugs come over to my house?
It sounds lame and like a fear tactic but it DOES happen. Bugs follow the same rule that water does - they gravitate towards the house with the least resistance. So no their house won’t be infested over night, but YES, there will be an increase in bug activity over time, on the side of their home closest to the neighbor treated.
Can we avoid a certain type of bug they don’t want killed?
Our products are designed to take care of all the bugs so even though their kids love the rolly pollies they will also be affected by our treatment. Remind them that on the outside, they will still have plenty of bugs. We don’t kill every living thing on their property.
Do we treat Yards?
This is not alawn care service (we don’t have a Lawn and Ornamental license), but we will spot-treat if there are some areas of their yard that could use a treatment. We will not treat their whole lawn; this is not a spot-treatment.
We are a “Residential” pest control company, so we mainly treat STRUCTURES (home, shed, playset, mailbox, etc…)
What about pets? Will it harm them?
The only pets that may be affected are very exotic and expensive birds and fish; cover their cages and tanks with a towel when we treat inside.
If hairspray or windex would kill their pet, then so will our product.
After 1 year of treatment, should they stop and wait a couple of years and then sign up when it gets bad again?
No, of course not. Our product lasts 90 days. After one year of treatment many of the bugs will have made their home elsewhere. However, 90 days from their last treatment the bugs will make their way back. This tactic of saying they can wait a few years with NO bugs is a way of getting someone to sign up for a year, but it is not honest or ethical. They will continue to need the service in the years to come. This is a maintenance program, not a “one-year kill all and never see bugs again” program. Tell them the average customer stays for 5-7 years.
Do they need to put their pets away?
If their pets are good around strangers then they don’t need to, but it is probably easier for our technician to treat the home if they aren’t being followed around by a curious puppy, or an aggressive predator .
Do we treat trees?
We will treat the base of trees if needed (usually for ants), but at a certain height by law an Arborist is required to treat.
